| CSR is one of the most important concepts of the 21stcentury. In recent year the concept of CSR has gained significance in India but the level of CSR is not satisfactory in all sectors. The concept of CSR has evolved from being regarded as detrimental to an company’s profitability, to being as somehow benefiting the company as a whole, at least in the long run. There are many challenges faced by the society such as sustainable development, poverty and equality, human rights, economicrelating ,job creation etc. call for a major role of CSR.The importance of CSR is increasing in Indian because companies have realize that ultimate goal of business is not just profit making beside building trust and socal relationshipwith the various section if society. |
